About WGG

My inspiration for this blog came about when watching the ever funny Kevin James in his stand-up routine released on DVD titled Sweat the Small Stuff. The entire routine is dedicated to Kevin simply talking about all the things that bug him. I am not sure why this routine really struck me, but I tend to take note of things that bother me and found a lot of humor in Kevin’s particular skill in telling his set of top rants.
I wouldn’t call myself a comedy junky, but enjoy it and can be found watching Comedy Central on occasion to see what the latest stand up has to offer. What I do really enjoy is comics that can produce genuine comedy, not those that simply go for the cheap laugh (this will I am sure be the content of one of my rantings to be posted). Some of my favorites include Kevin James (amazon), Brian Regan (amazon), Jeff Foxworthy (amazon), Bill Engvall (amazon), Jerry Seinfeld (amazon) and Bill Cosby (amazon). There are others that can be added to that list, but you get the idea.
So, being a ‘net minded individual I happened to be doing a domain search for some client and thought of looking up “sweatthesmallstuff.com” and it happened to be out there. I grabbed it and some other alternatives. Because I decided people may not understand the concept behind that initial domain, I decided to keep whatsgottago.com as the primary domain for the site. It has taken me awhile to get around to launching this site, but now that it is up I hope to get some good rants started and hopefully bring around some site visitors for suggestions on more rants to be added.
Hopefully you will find this site enjoyable and perhaps a little bit of a release on those things that just plain tick you off. Perhaps in an ideal world some people with these annoying habits will be readers to and fix them so we don’t have to put up it any more. You never know, it could happen…
Be sure to suggest your rants, or if you are really feeling the need to vent, apply to be an author and let the rants fly.
Oh, and before someone asks, the photo in the site banner is not me, just a stock photo I thought fit the theme of the site. Maybe someday I’ll put a shot of me up there, but don’t hold your breath.
