I lost 50 pounds and got rid of all my larger clothing...and well gained it back and have nothing that fits!!!!!! And I do have boxes of my daughter's papers filed by school years...I have told her when she moves it all goes and she can decide what to do with it! So I can relate. He is a neat freak, besides this past tidbit. Well, I have boxes of clothes that no longer fit me from the 80's, for the day they will fit me again. HArdy har har. Do you think they are worth selling on ebay? I also have jewelery, tons of shoes, papers from college, books from when my son was a child (he's 18), etc......... Sorry, gals…it is ME that hoards. Periodically I do get up the nerve and do some big time cleaning/tossing, but it takes some effort to get there. As for the decaying car, not in my list of (many) faults. Whew! I confess to 1) keeping original boxes in case of needing to return things, 2) keeping all the old electronics that are no longer even viable to be used, and 3) having a hard time in general throwing things away. Periodically I do get up the nerve and do some big time cleaning/tossing, but it takes some effort to get there.
