beep…Beep…BEEP

We have all had the pleasure of hearing the sudden onset of loud, annoying and terribly frequent beeping. At the grocery store, bank, restaurants, and any other place you may frequent, or stop by. The beeping that we are all familiar with is the most glorious (pointless) invention of the 20th century. Yep, you guessed it the car alarm. It is one of the most pointless invention out there. Not once have I heard a car alarm go off and think that it was being broken into. My first thought is “Who hit their button?” What is worse is when the car alarm is going off for EVER!!!! Somehow I think that if someone wants to break into the car they could set off the alarm, and no one around would bat an eye.
So I say what is the point of the car alarm, sure it adds noise to an otherwise beautiful day. Honestly who wants to hear the birds chirping when they can listen to the beep…Beep…BEEP!!!!

That is so funny! Just this week we had a car in the parking lot at work have its alarm go off. It kept it up incessantly, taking a break periodically and starting back up again. We are in an office park and it was an unfamiliar car, so we figured it belonged to another building/tenant. Later we discovered it was a guy visiting our office that was oblivious to the fact that it was his car.
Isn’t that the problem. We are so used to alarms going off that we hardly even give them a look anymore. The electronic version of crying wolf. Defeats the purpose of having the alarm in the first place!
