We gotta have some plastic bags to scoop kitty litter into!

Seriously now....fortunately, we live in a recycling city. Everyone pays for recycling whether they do it or not. Each week, we recycle more items than we put in the trash. Mondays is trash pick up and Thursdays is recycle pick up. When we go to the grocery store, we request paper bags, as that is what we sort our recycle items into and then the bags are recycled with newspapers.

How green can you get? My husband works in the environmental field and he made fun of me when I went on a business trip and saved my recycle items and brought them home to recycle. They didn't recycle where I was at and I just couldn't see adding to the landfill.
