[...] I recently wrote about creative block, and how it is something I frequently deal with. I am in a profession that requires me to be creative on a daily basis, whether it is designing or writing. With that in mind, I came across an article titled “How to Find Your Creative Zen” which speaks directly to engaging your right side of your brain while putting your left side, well to the side.
Pats Jeremy on the back...I totally know how you feel! Fortunatly I was blessed with the ability to draw. I am artistic but wouldn't consider myself creative. Many people keep telling me I am creative with this or that, but what they don't know is that it took me forever to figure it out. Usually by trial and error. I get knee deep in a project and them something comes to me....and then I pretty much have to start over...argh.

For instance I am working on a slideshow for my daughters 3rd birthday. It is just pictures of her and the occasional video clip. Well, I am almost done with it when I had an "ah ha" moment....grrr....back to square one. Why can't I get these idea WAY before I start? I know...because I always jump in head first and then figure it out as I go. Someday I may learn my lesson....but I doubt it!
