What’s Gotta Go

I received this note from my brother this morning:

“From a friend ranting: ‘My favorite Walmart photo story happened a few weeks ago… we sent some pictures over to Walmart to get developed, and they wouldn’t print them. They said, “These photos are too good, so they must be copyrighted.’”

I had to laugh because this has happened to be before at a different photo center. I actually took it as a compliment, and I hope this guy did as well. I love taking photos and feel constantly challenged to try and take better photos. There are some amazing photographers out there, so for someone to think my photos must be professional is definitely a compliment.

In my case I simply smiled and said to the lady working the counter, “Why yes, they are copyrighted….by me.” She took it in stride as well and simply replied, “Well great work then!”

A rant doesn’t always have to have an unhappy ending!
