Deck The Halls

This is just a short note to let everyone know that Deck the Halls followed by a shot to my arm is not funny. You are not the first to realize this little joke, not by a long shot. I have endured it since early childhood, usually with a casual smile and polite “ha, ha” for the benefit of the joke-ster. No more. I have a pretty good jab myself, and if you feel so inclined to try out your luck with this age hold bit of humor, you might get something in return you were not expecting. Just for good measure, I’m telling my kids that it is ok to hit back in this case too. This serves as your fair warning.
For those particularly slow, yes, my last name is Hall. For those even slower, a little sarcasm is always a good thing…but if you feel like you have to try out your rendition of Deck the Halls, just be sure it was worth the laugh.
No kidding, everybody and there dog seems to think this is a *new* joke.
And yeah, I’m Jeremy’s brother, so I’m used to the stupid joke.
As Jeremy and Jason’s older sister, have to agree. What’s worse, my college buddy was Holly.
And yes, we both punned, a lot….
I have to admit, not being a “Hall” it took me a minute to figure that out.
