I laughed when I read this. Don't you just hate it when all the lights are on the tree, all of the ornaments have been hung and then the tinsel - and bam, wham - a whole string of lights burned out.

Have you bought the little light tester?? Hey, this is a clever little invention - just try to find the bulb that is burnt out is all you need to do. Oh, it could take 15 minutes to find it, or it could take you hours just going through the whole strand to find out that stupid little tester probably doesn't work after all.

I do love my bargains when it comes to buying lights for Christmas decorating. I went one year the day after Christmas and bought so many boxes of lights - $.50 each box - 100 lights. Guess where they are at right now?? Still sitting in the plastic bin and have not been brought out yet.

This could be a good sign as I've used the same lights on the Christmas tree for 3 years now - so far so good. But, I also have those strands that blink normally, blink/flash, and then the solid lights. And wouldn't you know it that someone always has to mention the lights that don't blink - why?? I like my solid lights too!!!!!
