Changing the World, One Laugh at a Time
Nov 15th, 2006 by What's Gotta Go
A few of you that I know personally may have noticed I have started carrying around a small notebook with me to jot down notes as I think of them. My main reason for doing this is to make a note of a rant to write about in the future. Can I tell you just how fun it is to write them down as I think of them? I also don’t get mad about whatever is bugging me either, I usually end up with private moment of humor while I chuckle. Then, the thoughts start to come to mind as to what I am going to say about that particular rant. Therapeutic I say. You really all must add this into your routine. Whether you would like to be an author on the site or just add comments on the Suggest A Rant page, you really should try it out.
Just think of the change in your reaction when that bozo cuts you off on your morning drive to work. Or how about the office idiot that somehow finds a new way to bug you each and every day? No longer do you need to be chained to your negative emotions! Turn that moment into a bit of humor for us all to enjoy. I never thought of it before, but WhatsGottaGo.com could be the catalyst for bringing about world peace. I just threw that in there for fun, really. I am not that self-absorbed and deranged, but it sounded nice.
No, WGG isn’t going to change the world, but if it can make you laugh for a few minutes out of your day and perhaps get you to laugh at that very moment when previously something might have tipped you over the edge, then I have accomplished my goal. So, next time you hold up your baby (or grandbaby, or someone else’s baby) and he/she hurls up every last drop of the recent bottle on your clean shirt, just smile and come visit WGG to share the moment.

Well it’s nice to know I’m not as insane as I once thought I was…I write down my thoughts on anything I can find…napkins, store receipts…I recently wrote a whole paragraph about pantyhose on the inside of a empty Sweet and Low package I slit open in the restroom of a NYC restaurant! I have found the ONLY thing that keeps me from sticking my head into my oven on any given day is laughter! Insane, start out as a snicker…hold my sides laughter! It makes other’s wonder if you are safe to be near…so you always have breathing room! And it’s good for the soul! I have learned to laugh at myself because if you find humor in the worst situations it lightens the load.
