OK, this one really struck a cord with me. I can't understand why they want to charge you for the water you request in a cup you bring with you. I have this HUGE cup that I keep filled with water to drink throughout the day. I have tried to refill it at fast food places or convenience stores and they want to charge me for the "privledge" of using their water. Give me a break!!!

Jeremy, do you know how Andrew Carnegie got to be so rich (for his time)? Although he was an amazing philanthropist, in business, he was a major penny pincher!

No, I don't believe in charging for water, especially when it's simple to put the water in a "courtesy cup" or styrofoam cup that costs little to nothing. If the restaurant puts the water in one of those wax-covered cups they normally put soda in, they are paying at least 15 cents for each cup. They aren't paying anything for the soda. When asking for a cup of water, ask them to put it in a styrofoam cup, and if they try to charge you for it, argue with them.
